1. Acceptance of These Terms

By using 文渡PDF you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. What 文渡PDF Provides

文渡PDF is a browser-based toolbox for working with PDF and document files. It currently offers 131 tools for merging, splitting, compressing, converting, editing, signing, recognising text and more. The service runs as a website, and may also be offered as an installable web app, a desktop application and a browser extension.

3. How Processing Works

Every tool runs locally in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. That means:

• You do not need to create an account to use the tools
• Your files are not uploaded to us or to any third party
• We cannot see the documents you process
• Closing the page releases the data the browser held for the task

4. Who May Use the Service

You may use 文渡PDF if you are able to enter into a binding agreement under the law that applies to you. The service is not intended for children under 13.

5. Acceptable Use

We want the service to stay fast and available for everyone, so there are a few things we ask you not to do:

• Process documents you do not have the right to handle
• Use the service for unlawful, harmful or infringing purposes
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the service
• Use automated tools to scrape the service or bypass technical limits
• Remove or hide copyright, licence or attribution notices

6. Your Content and Your Responsibility

You keep all rights to the documents you process. Because processing happens on your device, we never receive them and claim no licence over them. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and modify each document, and for the results you produce with the tools.

7. Free Service and Advertising

文渡PDF is free to use and does not require an account. To cover the cost of running and improving the service we display advertising, which may be served by third-party advertising partners. Ads are never part of your documents and never change how your files are processed. Where the law requires it, advertising partners are responsible for obtaining any consent needed for the ads they serve.

8. Our Intellectual Property

The 文渡PDF name, interface, design and source code are protected by intellectual property law. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the service. They do not transfer any ownership of the service or its branding to you.

9. Availability and Accuracy

The service is provided as is and as available. Tools such as conversion, text recognition and compression can produce imperfect results depending on the input document. We do not guarantee that a tool will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Please check the output before relying on it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, 文渡PDF is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, documents or profits, arising from your use of the service. Because your files never leave your device, keeping your own backups is the best protection.

11. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or retire individual tools, and we may suspend or discontinue the service in whole or in part. Where we can, we will give reasonable notice of significant changes.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page together with the update date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the operator of 文渡PDF is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy where you live. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to settle it informally.
