Cookie Policy

1. Cookies and Similar Storage

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to keep and send back with later requests. Browsers also provide local storage and IndexedDB, which keep data on your device without sending it with every request. 文渡PDF uses all three, sparingly.

2. Cookies We Set Ourselves

We set one functional cookie of our own:

• NEXT_LOCALE - remembers the language you selected so the site opens in the same language next time. Lifetime is about one year.

3. Local Storage We Use

These values stay on your device and are never sent to us:

• theme - whether you chose the light or the dark interface
• NEXT_LOCALE - the language preference, mirrored from the cookie above
• pdfcraft-favorite-tools - the tools you starred as favourites
• pdfcraft_recent_files - your recent file list, used by the Recent Files menu
• pdfcraft_tour_completed and pdfcraft_tour_dismissed - whether you finished or skipped the first-visit tour
• formCreator_savedProjects - form layouts you saved while using the form creator

4. IndexedDB Storage

Two features keep larger data in IndexedDB on your device:

• pdfcraft_projects - projects you saved with the project and workflow features
• pdfcraft-fonts - embedded fonts cached so text rendering stays fast

5. Third-Party Cookies from Advertising

文渡PDF is funded by advertising. Advertising partners may set their own cookies to limit how often you see an ad and to measure or personalise advertising. Those cookies are controlled by the partners rather than by us, and we do not receive the personal data behind them. You can dismiss the sidebar ads with the close button, and you can manage advertising cookies in your browser settings.

6. What We Do Not Do

We do not run third-party analytics, we do not sell your data, and we do not use our own cookies to follow you across other websites. The only cross-site cookies that can appear are those set by advertising partners, as described above.

7. Managing Cookies and Storage

Your browser settings let you view, block and delete cookies, and clear local storage and IndexedDB. Blocking the language cookie simply means the site may not remember your chosen language. Clearing storage removes your favourites, history and saved projects from this device, and that cannot be undone.

• Blocking or deleting cookies from advertising partners stops personalised advertising
• Deleting site data resets all 文渡PDF preferences on this device

8. Changes to This Policy

If we add new cookies or storage, we will update this page. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
